Equilibrated Ordinary Chondrite H4, slightly weathered by terrestrial oxidation.

The only fragment weighing 400 g. It has a dark and shiny fusion crust, due to the high content of Ca, found mainly in anorthitic plagioclases. Source: TOSI A.A.

Porphyritic texture mainly formed by anorthitic Plagioclase and Clinopyroxenes grains. Some pigeonite have augite exsolution, as seen in light gray CPX grains. Source: TOSI A.A.

Small grains of Troilite (FeS) and Ilmenite (FeTiO3) (white). In medium gray Clinopyroxenes and with darker one, grains of plagioclase Anortite. Source: TOSI A.A.

FALL
Serra de Magé is a cumulative eucrite of the clan known as HED, from the asteroid Vesta.

Opaque grains such as Ilmenite and Titanomagnetite (white). In light gray pyroxene and dark gray plagioclase or maskelinite (glass from plagioclase due to high pressure shock events). Presence of small opaque grains in the plagioclase glass. Source: TOSI A.A.

In the center clinopyroxene grain with heterogeneous chemistry. The edges is richer in Fe and the center there is more presence of Ca and Mg. Source: TOSI A.A.
